Call for Special Issue
IBC welcomes proposals for special issues in any areas of interdisciplinary bioscience and bioengineering as well as basic, applied, and medical sciences.
A special issue will be edited by the guest editor(s) who initially proposes the issue, in consultation with one of the IBC editors.
A special issue is typically composed of 4 to 10 articles.
The articles may include various types such as Research articles, Rapid reports, Hypotheses/Ideas, Experimental methods, Reviews, Prospects, News and Views, Tutorials, Essays, and Addenda, etc.
The proposal for a special issue should be submitted by the Guest editor(s) and should include the followings:
- Guest editor’s names, affiliations and e-mail
- A suggested title for special issue
- Tentative contents and number of articles
- Tentative due date
IBC may provide editorial expenses, if needed.
